Biography:

Christine was born in Fregon and has lived there with her family for all of her life. She attended Fregon Anangu School and began painting in 2001.

An emerging artist, the subject of her art extends from design paintings, which include either abstract or feature traditional foods known as bushtucker, to traditional story paintings and landscapes. Christine's technique includes the traditional dot style, combined with the 'walka' style that is unique to the APY Lands.

Christine's work is inspired by her traditional country and the culture of the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Lands which is located 350km SE of ULURU.
