Joanne Ken is from Fregon on the Anangu Pitjantjatjara/ Yankunytjatjara Lands, 350km SE of ULURU. Joanne paints using the medium of acrylics on canvas She uses both the dot painting style as well as 'walka' - a bstract images - a style unique to the region.

At present, Joanne is living at Kanpi with her mother, Iwana. This is Iwana's mother's country.
