Biography:

Anne Dixon was born in 1965 and is a Pitjantjatjara language speaker. She grew up in Ernabella as her parents had moved to the mission before she was born. She spent some time in Adelaide at Ingle Farm High School with girls from the surrounding communities of Amata and Fregon. When she returned to Ernabella she worked in the craft room specialising in Batik. She now resides in both Watarru, her mother and grandmother’s country and Hasts Bluff her husbands place.
