Art Centre: Ernabella Arts (Pukatja, S.A)
Area: APY Lands, South Australia

Biography:

Harry often paints many women (Kungka Tjuta). His reason for thinking about women is purely platonic, he wants to find a companion to help take care of him, be a friend and provide company. Harry is an elderly man.

Harry started painting at the end of 2005. He is in his 'late' seventies however it is difficult to verify the year of his birth.

Harry is a senior law man and ngankari, a traditional healer.

Harry's painting subjects are kangaroo men  and (marsupial) mouse women, two of the significant totemic Creation beings of his country, and men thinking about (chasing) women and women thinking about (and running way from) men. He often paints the "Kungkarangkalpa' (seven sisters story) from a very male perspective.
